The New York State Law Enforcement and Community Council (NYSLECC) is recruiting dedicated individuals to serve in its Council Investigation Division (CID) and Community Affairs Division (CAD). These positions are volunteer-based, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our community while gaining valuable experience.

Positions Available

 
 
Membership System and Fees • Associate Member: Annual fee: $200. Members who contribute over 60 hours of volunteer service within a year will have their membership fee waived for the following year. • Board Member: Board positions must be approved by a council vote before becoming official. Board members have the right to participate in elections and vote for the positions of President and Vice President.



1.    CID Investigator
  •    Conduct investigations to support justice and community safety.
  •    Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and community leaders.
  •    Participate in training programs provided by NYSLECC to enhance your investigative skills.
 

2.    CAD Community Affairs Specialist
  •    Act as a bridge between law enforcement and the community.
  •    Organize and participate in outreach events to foster trust and collaboration.
  •    Work on initiatives that address the needs and concerns of our community.

  •    Strong commitment to upholding the values of integrity, fairness, and collaboration.
  •    Willingness to dedicate 4-6 hours per week to NYSLECC activities (flexible schedules available).
