Dear Law Enforcement Officers, Police Officers, and Federal Officers,

On behalf of NYSLECC, I extend our sincerest greetings to you. We wholeheartedly support your diligent work in maintaining community safety and upholding law enforcement responsibilities.

As members of NYSLECC, we steadfastly support the importance of police work and urge our members to abide by all laws in the United States. We firmly believe that compliance with the law is everyone's responsibility, and cooperating with the police and avoiding unnecessary trouble is crucial.

Through this message, we hope to convey our respect and gratitude to you. With your brave and professional spirit, you contribute to the safety and order of society.

Please remember that NYSLECC stands with you, supporting your work. If you need any assistance or collaboration, we are willing to provide help.

And we kindly request your cooperation and courtesy when interacting with members of our New York State Law Enforcement Community Council. In the event that a member is found to have violated a serious crime or engaged in DWI, you have the right to confiscate their membership ID card and the organization shield. Or you can dial (718) 599 1925.  Prior to receiving these items, our members have signed a legally binding agreement, notarized by the member, which states that these items should not be presented as credentials of a Police Officer or Federal Officer.

 

These items solely serve to identify them as NYSLECC members. It is important to note that possessing these items does not grant any special privileges under the law. If you confiscate these items, please contact the information provided on the back of the member ID card or contact us via email at info@nyslecc.org. We appreciate your support and courtesy towards our New York State Law Enforcement and Community Council. And Stay safe, Officers. Thank you.

**Legal Notice**
To: All Concerned Parties
In accordance with the regulations of the New York State Law Enforcement and Community Council (NYSLECC),
all large badges and member IDs previously issued by the organization will become void as of
**12:00 AM on September 10, 2024**. Any continued use of NYSLECC badges or IDs after this date will be
considered an infringement of the organization's intellectual property rights.
The NYSLECC legal team reserves the right to take legal action, including but not limited to fifiling lawsuits,
against any individual or group found to be using NYSLECC badges or IDs without authorization.
Furthermore, law enforcement officers are hereby authorized to confiscate any NYSLECC-related items,
including badges and IDs, found in the possession of unauthorized individuals after the stated expiration date.
NYSLECC will be issuing newly designed smaller member badges and IDs. All members are encouraged to
follow the upcoming instructions and exchange their badges and IDs promptly to avoid any legal implications.
